Distant Dreamers is an RPG style puzzle game written in vanilla javascript. I was inspired by games like Stardew Valley and Final Fantasy. I thought it would be interesting to try and combine the two.
Goals
- Build an object-oriented game engine using vanilla javascript.
- Build a turnbased battle system like Final Fantasy.
- Explore world building techniques use in Stardew Valley.
- Create 2D sprites and environment assets.
