I found out in the beginning of June 2025 that my long-time friend and cat Pita developed diabetes mellitus which resulted in many pin pricks for blood sampling. I decide to built a locally hosted app to keep track of my cat.

Goals

• Try building a new framework Express.js.
• Keep track of blood glucose, insulin, and food over a 24 hour period with Chart.js.
• Learn the EJS templating engine.
• Create an easy way to view multiple days and convert to JPG or PDF.

Pita Tracker was a personal project built with Express.js, EJS, and styled in a Shad CN style I designed and develolped myself. I've wanted to design and built for quite some time.
